I was one of only a handful of finalists selected by VAO to present my art at Chester Art Fair in Chester, UK 2017. The city is an ancient yet beautiful Roman city boasting its own Cathedral and parts of its original Roman wall. I was beyond excited to be presenting my Dukkha II original print there. Even though I didn't win the final top price, I still had a wonderful time as Chester Art Fair truly gave you a sense of a supportive artist community.

If you are in NYC and have some time, do come and check out this amazing show. Not because my 3D printed Norma Jeane II is in it, but because every single artwork you see on each wall is a dream hard won and fought by the artists exhibited.
For some, it takes decades to have one artwork hung and shown in a gallery, for others, each artwork represents numerous personal sacrifices, none-stop hustling, and strings of rejections.
If you look hard enough, you'll see not just an image but a personal story behind each artwork.
Salmagundi Club, the oldest art club in the United States hosted 2 shows simultaneously on Friday Jan 13 2017. Yup, upstairs and downstairs where the New Members Show and the Junior & Scholarship exhibition were staged. 3 of my works were exhibited in both shows :)
Imagine my surprise and excitement when I was called on stage. Thank you Salmagundi and thank you Mr. Anthony Almeida for believing in my works!
